I welcome all gynaecology referrals, including referrals for common conditions including Mirena insertion, colposcopy and abnormal uterine bleeding. I accept referrals via Medical Objects (2724837W), fax, email and by post.

Special interests

My special areas of interest and expertise are in managing complex gynaecological conditions, including severe endometriosis and management of chronic pelvic pain.

I have specialised training in performing complex laparoscopic surgeries and have completed the two-year AGES (Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery) Fellowship. I regularly perform complex laparoscopic procedures, including resection of severe endometriosis, and have extensive experience in performing procedures in conjunction with other specialist surgeons, including colorectal surgeons and urologists.

I strive to perform procedures via a minimally invasive approach for all patients to encourage rapid recovery and a shorter hospital stay. This includes laparoscopic myomectomy and laparoscopic hysterectomy for very enlarged fibroid uterus.

I also regularly attend conferences and engage in professional development to extend my knowledge about other conditions, including management of the menopause and vulval skin disorders.

What you can expect

As soon I receive your referral, my team will contact your patient to make an appointment.
I actively triage my waiting list and will see your patient as soon as possible, and usually within a couple of weeks. If you think your patient needs more urgent review, please make a note in your referral letter or contact me, and I will fit them in for an earlier appointment.
After I see your patient, I will send you a succinct letter the same day to detail my findings and outline a plan for management or further investigation. I will call you if there is something important or urgent to discuss.
I will copy you into any investigations, and update you when results are received.
I am available to provide advice or further information to assist you or your patient.
